On August 11, 2024, the Sosiocare Seva team from SSSGC Jakarta held a social service activity beside the railway tracks on Jl. Pekojan III, Bandengan Selatan. This activity aimed to assist the needy community in the surrounding area and successfully served 100 households (HH) and 60 children. The aid provided included essential items such as food supplies, clothing, and school supplies for the children. Each household received a package containing rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other daily necessities. Meanwhile, the children were given notebooks, pencils, and snacks to support their education and nutrition.

From early morning, the SSSGC Jakarta volunteers were ready at the location. They collaborated with local residents to ensure that the aid distribution proceeded smoothly and orderly. Besides the distribution of aid, the event was also filled with various entertainment and educational activities for the children. There were drawing sessions, singing, and games that actively involved the children, creating a cheerful and joyful atmosphere. The community’s enthusiasm for this event was very high. Many expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided, and the children greatly enjoyed the various activities, which not only provided entertainment but also education.
