On January 4 and 5, 2025, SSSGC Yogyakarta carried out Sociocare Seva activities in the remote areas of Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This event was held to commemorate the 99th birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai and to welcome the new year of 2025. The activities were led by the Chairperson of SSSGC Yogyakarta, Mrs. Zuki, and attended by the Vice Chairperson of SSSGC Indonesia, Bro Johnny Wong, along with teams from SSSGC Yogyakarta and Jakarta.

On the first day, the seva was conducted at Pesantren Ainul Yakin, serving 250 children with autism and individuals with mental health conditions (ODGJ). Located in a remote area, the pesantren is about two hours away from downtown Yogyakarta. The team departed early in the morning and provided direct services with love and compassion, accompanied by the distribution of pre-prepared aid packages. The activity lasted until the evening, after which the team returned to the center.

On the second day, the seva continued in Dusun Piyuyon, Pacarejo Village, Gunungkidul Regency. A total of 1,008 residents in the area received aid packages, including rice (5 kg per family), bread, biscuits, milk, instant noodles, and t-shirts. The journey to this location also took about two hours, traversing challenging terrain. With a spirit of service, the team arrived in the morning and ensured that all aid was distributed to the residents. The activities concluded in the evening, and the team returned to the center.

The two-day Sociocare Seva event was wrapped up with a bhajan session attended by the participating devotees. This session created a peaceful spiritual atmosphere and served as a moment of reflection on the service provided over the past two days.

This initiative reflects the core teaching of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: "Love All, Serve All." Under the experienced leadership of Mrs. Zuki, who has been conducting Sociocare Seva in various villages for over 25 years, along with the full support of SSSGC Indonesia Vice Chairperson Bro Johnny Wong and other SSSGC team members, this activity had a tangible impact on communities in need.
