SSSGC Yogyakarta : Grama Seva in Commemoration of the 100th Birth Anniversary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Serving 1,368 People

On 6–7 December 2025, SSSGC Yogyakarta organized the Sociocare Grama Seva program, attended by Sai devotees from Yogyakarta and Jakarta, as well as national leaders of SSSGC Indonesia. This activity was a manifestation of loving service in commemoration of the 100th Birth Anniversary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The program commenced on Saturday with bhajans, followed by a dharma discourse delivered by Brother Hansen on the true meaning of noble seva, and concluded with prasadam. The overall preparation and coordination of the activity were led by Mrs. Zuki, Chairperson of SSSGC Yogyakarta and Head of Seva Yogyakarta, who ensured the readiness of all logistics and aid items.

On Sunday, the sevadals traveled to Ngestirejo Village, Gunungkidul, where the activities began with entertainment and interactive games led by the Sai Young Adults, fostering a warm and joyful atmosphere with the local community. The program was then officially opened by Brother Johnny Wong, Vice Chairman of SSSGC Indonesia.

The seva activities at the Ngestirejo Village Hall took place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., during which various forms of assistance were distributed, including basic food supplies, clothing, children’s bags and stationery sets, books, food and beverages, as well as T-shirts and shirts for all beneficiaries. In the afternoon, the seva continued at Ainul Yakin Special Needs Children’s Home in Gunungkidul until 5:00 p.m., with further distribution of aid and moral support for children with special needs.

Overall, the Sociocare Grama Seva program served 1,368 beneficiaries, with the hope of spreading happiness, care, and a spirit of togetherness among all those served.
