SSSGC Sai Anandam Bali : Narayana Seva in Honor of Ganesha Chaturthi for Scavengers and Beach Facility Caretakers

In celebration of the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi, Sai Anandam Bali, under the guidance of SSSGC Indonesia, organized a heartwarming Narayana Seva event. This service was conducted with the noble intent of honoring Lord Ganesha, who represents wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles, by serving the less fortunate members of our community, particularly the scavengers and beach facility caretakers. On 09 September 2024, a total of 24 dedicated volunteers, including 15 Mahilas (women), 5 young adults, 2 Balvikas (children), and 2 adult male devotees, came together to distribute 108 packages of essential food items and clothing. These packages were carefully prepared to meet the immediate needs of those who often go unnoticed in our daily lives, yet contribute significantly to maintaining the cleanliness and harmony of our surroundings. The distribution took place at various locations, focusing on the beach areas where the caretakers and scavengers work tirelessly to maintain a clean environment. This act of love and selfless service not only aimed to provide physical relief but also to spread the message of compassion and gratitude. By aligning with the spirit of Ganesha Chaturthi, the participants sought to remove obstacles in the lives of those served, symbolizing the deeper connection between devotion to God and service to humanity. The Narayana Seva was a beautiful reflection of how service is the highest form of worship, as taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Through this Seva, the Sai Anandam Bali family hopes to inspire others to recognize the importance of community service and to continue spreading peace, love, and kindness in all directions.
